Leadership

Within a business, leadership is considered as the capacity of a company’s management for setting and achieving organisational goals. A leader has the capability to make quick decisions and actions when needed. Also, they have the capability to outperform the competition and inspire others to do their work by giving their best. An effective direction for organisational success is provided by an effective leader. Employees require to know the direction of their leader in order to achieve business goals. The definition of leadership captures the significance of being able to motivate others. An effective leader has many characteristics such as self-confidence, management skills, strong communication, innovative, creative thinking and perseverance in the face of failure, capability to take risks, and reactiveness in time of crisis. Moreover, the particular situation helps to determine the effective interaction style. However, the leaders must deal with the problems which need immediate solutions without consulting followers.

Final decisions and responsibilities are held by the democratic leader, but they are known to delegate authority to the other people, which defines the work projects.
  • Strategic leadership style: The head of an organisation is considered as the strategic leader. However, these leaders are not limited to the top of the organisation.
